MOTIVATION
Today, I primarily communicate through emails, facebook messages and twitter retweets. On the other hand, my mom (in India) longs for telephone calls, in-person meetings and physical postcards.
ZapShot aims to bridge this gap by introducing TANGIBLE URL’s. Using your iPhone, you can send a ZapShot in three easy steps -- pick a contact, pick a photo and type a message. ZapShot creates a real physical postcard that gets sent to your recipient’s address. But, this is not your usual postcard -- on the backside contains a QR code, which is a window into your digital world. The recipient can use his/her mobile phone or laptop camera to move from the physical to the digital world.
