ZapText

MOTIVATION

People text. They text all the time. We interviewed a lot of extreme SMS users, and realized that a lot of times they risked their lives while sending SMS. As an example, we noticed our friend, Charlotte, texting with both hands while driving her car with legs on the US-101. She was running late to a party and wanted to let her host know that. Now, there are laws that ban texting in the car, but people still do it, and there’s no stopping them. This is why we developed ZapText — a no keyboard 3-tap texting application on the iPhone.
